So, yet again, I was discussing some things with people. Pertinent things that matter in life & in many people's lives. Anyway, one of the discussion members decided to quote only 3 words of an 11 word sentence. THAT IS INEXCUSABLE!!!! Thing is, there can only be confusion & miscommunication when people relay their own ideas through partially quoting a source. It's the same thing that's happened in religions for years.
In this particular circumstance, the topic being discussed is quite literally a life & death notion. To misunderstand it could well be to die. I know since I've seen people misunderstand & die......
Reality is comprised of more than just individual opinions. There are actual FACTS floating around out there. Do not be confused or swayed by arguments like "live & let live" or "to each their own". Great notions, when used in the proper context. To misquote (even though it may be an opinion) is to blur these facts. To blur reality to incomprehensibility.
Therefore, let this serve as a challenge to everyone to actually KNOW the subject their speaking of then DO NOT let your own bias, agendas, or _what_ _you'd_ _like_ for it to say interfere with relaying the ideas contained therein. ALSO, challenge those who speak as an authority! Challenge with questions the old ideas that may have out lived their usefulness or may need to be added to. Above all else, let us do our very best to eradicate our personal agendas so that ideas may flow freely & openly!
